A weeklong pack trip through the rugged mountains of Northern Patagonia in Argentina. Ride alongside gauchos, traverse remote mountain passes on sturdy criollo horses, swim in clear streams, and enjoy classic Argentine asado and red wine beneath the stars.

Türkiye

A horseback journey through the iconic landscapes of Cappadocia and its off-the-beaten path surroundings. Ride among fairy chimneys, cave dwellings, monasteries, and vineyards, while also venturing into quiet villages, riding with the semi-wild Yılkı horses, and experiencing local culture.

Kyrgyzstan Transhumance

Join shepherds for the Transhumance, a bi-annual livestock move between winter pastures and high summer grazing. Ride through vast steppe surrounded by snow-capped peaks, visit the eagle hunters, and stay in yurts and guesthouses on this culturally-immersive and gritty expedition.

Mongolia Altai

Ride into the remote Altai Mountains of western Mongolia, following ancient nomadic routes alongside a camel caravan. Meet Kazakh eagle hunters, ride small Mongolian horses across open steppe and high mountain valleys, stay with nomadic families, and finish with the opening ceremony of Naadam in Ulaanbaatar.

Mongolia Horse Migration

Join Mongolian horse herders for eight days as they move a herd of 200+ horses across the Arkhangai steppe. Ride alongside the herd, help gather and manage the horses, stay with local families, and experience traditional horsemanship, wrestling, lassoing, and wild-horse taming. Finish by visiting Mongolia’s famous Przewalski’s wild horses and trying your hand at traditional horse archery.

Winter Kyrgyzstan

Experience a season of Kyrgyzstan that few get to see. Adventurous and rugged, ride with shepherds, undeterred by the snow and rewarded with the vast solitude winter provides. Along the way, explore cultural traditions including the horseback sport kok boru, mounted archery, eagle hunting, yak-herding, artisanal crafts, and music.

Morocco

Eight days on Morocco’s Atlantic Coast with a blend of active riding and cultural exploration. Spend five days riding along the coast (including some fast riding!), staying in comfortable canvas tents and guesthouses, and eating home-cooked, flavorful Moroccan cuisine. End with two nights in Essaouira by the UNESCO site Medina of Essaouira, enjoying a visit to the local market and a cooking class, as well as the option to add on a visit to the spa for a massage or traditional hammam experience.
